Rules and Such

The Cauldron Inn is within the lands of Rhy’din. Please note the Inn is a medieval fantasy, free-form role-play room owned and operated by the Guardians of the Flame.
We intend for this to be a place where players can find others of common interest and perhaps spring out of here to run their own story lines. There are a few rules we ask you to follow while playing in our room. They aren't too terribly strict and are here to keep role-play running smoothly.
1. Use common sense.
2. No OOC in the room. Use IMs for this please.
3. Spell check is your friend. Right click on text to bring up the spell check option.
4. Fighting is allowed in the Cauldron. However, your character may be asked to leave, stop fighting or be bounced (all ic). Just like you would IRL at the neighborhood bar. Common sense goes a long way with fighting. If it is lasting for hours or is highly disruptive, you will be asked to take it outside. We will not use the bolt function, but taunting or ignoring is certainly within our rights.
5. Foul language should be kept to a minimum in the room. Cursing can be an art form all it's own, get creative in your insults or exclamations. Any moron can use a four-letter word.
6. Each of us put a lot of work into our characters, if you plan to do something to bad to another character... ask mun’s permission or be prepared to be ignored.
7. See #1
Offenders will be warned via IM. If that does not correct the problem, you will be ignored. Please do not make a royal pest of yourself, and don't use the excuse that your character is obnoxious. It's weak. |
